Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Bedless Fajr app, published by Zakariya Telitel, France (operating as Telitouch). By using the app you accept them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to apps downloaded from the App Store.
1. What Bedless Fajr Is
An alarm clock that computes your Fajr prayer time from your location, rings a system alarm at that time, and asks you to photograph a target object to end it.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal use.
3. Subscription
Full access to Bedless Fajr requires an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple:
- Yearly, currently $34.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Monthly, currently $9.99 per month, without a free trial.
Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
4. Prayer Times Are Computed Estimates
Prayer times are calculated from astronomical formulas, your location and the calculation convention you select (the default is the Muslim World League, 18°). Conventions differ, and local mosques may follow their own schedules. Bedless Fajr is a tool to help you wake up; it is not a religious authority. Verify times with your local community if in doubt.
5. The Alarm Depends on Your Device
The alarm uses Apple's system alarm framework and rings through silent mode when the required permissions are granted. We cannot guarantee that you will wake up: device settings, battery, permissions, iOS behavior and your own sleep are outside our control. Do not rely on the app as your only safeguard for anything critical.
6. Photo Verification
The photo check is performed by an automated vision service and can be wrong in either direction. After two refusals you may continue anyway; that morning is then recorded as "unverified" in your history. Verifications are limited to a reasonable daily number per device to prevent abuse.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to circumvent the subscription, abuse the verification service, reverse-engineer the app, or use it in any unlawful way.
8. No Warranty, Limited Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a missed prayer, a missed appointment or lost sleep. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
9. Changes and Termination
We may update the app and these terms; material changes are shown in the app or on this page with a new effective date. We may suspend access in case of abuse. You may stop using the app at any time; your subscription is managed through Apple.
10. Governing Law
French law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
